A wintery depiction of a short eared owl flying through the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge in northern Utah. This is the full-size version of the 8x10 water color study "Gone". This was one of my proudest photography moments, I found this guy hanging out on a dreary Sunday afternoon on one of the posts by the dirt road up in the Refuge. He wasn't too bothered by my being there, but would fly from post to post then stop and make sure I wasn't getting too close. The absolute silence of their flight was amplified by the cold winter hanging over the refuge that day.
All paintings are signed and dated on the back of the canvas. Paintings are hand wrapped and shipped within 1-2 weeks of purchase. All prints are professionally produced, archival giclee prints.

I try to offer digital representations of each piece such that they are as true to the original painting as possible when displayed online. Please note varying digital screens and settings may show color, highlights, and shadows with slight variations, I suggest viewing on multiple screens to avoid any concerns or discrepancies before purchasing. All sales are final; however, If you ever receive an order that has been damaged or is incorrectly sent, please let me know. I will work with you to fix it.
