A depiction of a frosty morning in late fall looking across the north end of Jackson Lake towards the Grand Tetons, in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. There are few places on earth as beautiful as the north end of Jackson Lake looking back towards the Tetons. No matter the weather, the lake is a massive mirror reflecting the majesty of the Grand Tetons. It's difficult to take it all in standing on the shore. This painting aims to highlight both the similarities, fluidity, and contrast of the water, land, and sky in this magnificent corner of the country.
